Fabian loves office life
„Even at SAP, I didn’t have such a nice office.“
Fabian simply enjoys being in the office – because it’s where he works best. His day starts with a visit to the bakery just downstairs – the team gets a 15% discount there. Then he’s ready to go.
He values direct interaction with his colleagues: “Everything works remotely, but creative ideas come about differently when you’re standing together at a whiteboard,” he says. It’s not about big workshops, but short, effective discussions that move the project forward.
He also feels comfortable in the rooms themselves: bright, quiet workspaces and a pleasant atmosphere help him stay focused and work in a structured way.
Relaxed and together throughout the day
Lunch together structures his day. Nothing planned, just easy-going – you head out together, chat about this and that, and return to your desk with fresh energy. He does work from home occasionally – when the meter reader or a tradesperson is due. But luckily, that only happens every few months.
Barbara needs flexibility
„For me, it’s the only way to do the job I love.“
Our colleague Barbara lives in the countryside with her young daughter – and she loves rural life. Commuting to the office in Magdeburg every day? That would mean two hours of travel on top of her working hours. Not an option with a kindergarten-aged child.
Thanks to our flexible work model, she can still work full-time and give it her all – remotely, with fixed office hours. And if her daughter gets sick and needs to be picked up early from kindergarten? That’s no problem – she can take care of her and catch up on work later, once her child is asleep.
Family-friendly, flexible and connected – even when working from home
Our digital meeting culture ensures she stays in touch with the team and doesn’t miss a thing. And she looks forward to her regular office day in Magdeburg each week – to meet colleagues in person and catch up face to face.
This is what modern working at js-soft looks like: individual, flexible, and in harmony with life.
That’s how it is
